Anyway, today is quite a good day, or I'm not really sure, if it is. The day started off with a 6.00am wake-up call to pray at the temple, then rush to AMK Pool for my morning swim. We started off with lots of kicking, then, we started swimming properly, with hand strokes and all. While doing the backstroke swim, we stopped abruptly and started to do some kicking. I nearly hit the wall with my head! Ow. My hand hit the wall first. Luckily, or else my head would have broke. Haha. Gotta go now. Times up for my blogging time. Might post on Monday or whenever I'm free; most probably on Good Friday. Everyone will have ~~SCHOOL~~ on Good Friday! XD

FINALLY! Oops, but I'm really happy that I received my 2 year plan from Singtel today at 5pm. But the bad news is, I have to extract 4 teeth (fully grown adult teeth) if I want to continue putting on my braces. T.T I feel so sad! I have to extract my healthy teeth, not to mention fully grown ones, ADULT TEETH THAT WILL LAST ME THROUGH MY LIFE! Waaaaaaa! I'm not really that scared of the pain but, I don't want to make a huge sacrifice about my teeth. I'm sure anyone wouldn't want that, do we? Obviously not right?
Now the big announcement on my PPR 1 Results. It really looks horrible, but I'll say it anyway. Here goes!

-Higher Chinese: C6 (I know that score's horrible)
-Geography: A2 (Looking good)

March Holidays! Malacca! Weeeee~~~ / Sunday, March 22, 2009

The March Holidays... How fun and wacky can it get? It was super fun for me, having spent 2 days and a night in Malacca, Malaysia. Starting off from my home in Singapore at 6.30a.m in the morning, we set off to the causeway, which was located near my house. We didn't get into a traffic jam on the way to Malaysia, even at the new Malaysia Checkpoint. We sat in the car for about an hour (fast without a jam, I didn't have time to sleep) before reaching my cousins' house. They lived in Taman Putri, Kulai. We went into their house and watched a little of 终极一家 (The X Family) before setting off for the 2-hour long drive to Malacca.

My dad drove at a 135km/h on the Malaysia highway. The speed limit was only 110km/h, but we didn't care, as we so eagerly wanted to get to Malacca and party the whole day. My brother, Brendan, together with my cousin Lexin and me, we sat in the car, snacking on potato chips throughout the whole journey. Suddenly, we saw cars on the opposite side of the highway flashing their headlights repeatedly. On and off, on and off. I was curious why they were flashing their headlights in the middle of the day. It was an extremely odd sight.

Not long after, my mum (who was sitting in the other car with my uncle) called my dad on his handphone. She told us to slow down (we were going at top speed) because the cars at the opposite side were giving us a warning. That warning meant that we had to slow down - There was a road block by the police up ahead. We were taken aback and we gradually slowed down. After about 3 minutes or so, we sighted a road block. Extremely thankful to the warnings, we remembered to look out for those flashing headlights on our return journey back to Singapore on the next afternoon.

We reached Malacca half an hour earlier than the expected time. We decided to go to 'Mini Asean' to take a look at how the Asean Village was like. I found it quite boring because we only walked around the area, exploring houses made out of bamboo sticks and watching people perform with traditional instruments. I went back to the car to sit in there and snack on chips once again. After waiting for the rest of the family for 10 whole minutes ( it seemed like 30 minutes), we set off to check into our hotel. We reached the hotel in 20 minutes, and guess what. You wouldn't believe what I saw. I saw a super-duper dirty and creepy hotel in front of my eyes. I was so shocked when they said that we were going to stay there for the night. Ergh!

We went in to the rooms to look at the situation. In the end, we saw that the bath towels looked more like floormats (they were realy super black!), a TV that looked like an antique that was going to fall off any moment, and 1 small and 1 big bed. I stared at the room in horror. The toilet was so narrow! One corridor that looked like a small, narrow alleyway. We went out of the hotel to have lunch at a chicken rice stall and spent almost $70 there on lunch.

I won't linger on the details for now, so I'll describe the trip to the Crocodile Farm now. I'll post a few pictures here, and a video in the next post.

6.9 Class Gathering / Saturday, March 14, 2009

Today really rocks; and one sms is making me laugh like crazy.
But I really shouldn't say it cos' it's an sms that is quite insulting to China's famous poet. though I have to admit that it is really funny.
Another thing, one more sms is making me feel a little insulted.
Someone is making me mad with one sms. But I don't want to let that one affect my mood. Today's trip was cool! :)
Our outing was so incredible. Some of them went to watch the movie Push, but I didn't like violence.
So, I didn't watch it with them.
Anyway, we had lunch at FoodFare. Then Huishan went to Mac's to have lunch, because it was too crowded.
She eats Mac's almost everyday, and won't get 'sianz' de. So weird! And it's so fattening. Ewwwww.
Then we went window shopping, with Jasmine, Xiaofang, Carmen and Yinton.
We went into a few video shops, looking at DVDs'.
I'm webcamming with Kaiwen! Haha.
So fun! But she eats chocolate in front of the webcam, makes me hungry. *Growl*
Heehee. :)
